Has a joint PhD on Electrical Engineering/Automatique from a co-tutelle agreement between Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and Université Paris-Saclay, a MSc on Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and a Bachelor on Control and Automation Engineering from Universidade de Caxias do Sul. Currently, he is a Professor at Centro Universitário UNIFACVEST, and his primary research interests include nonlinear control systems, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
